Country Ridge sports medicine

Country Ridge sports medicine

Over the last few decades, a new sub-specialty of orthopedics developed – sports medicine. Oasis Physical Therapy has been riding the wave and leading the pack in treating injuries related to sports and exercise programs. The talented physical therapists at Oasis Physical Therapy provide services to help manage pain, restore strength and function to injured areas, and offer educational opportunities to help you continue your recovery at home. We also excel in County Ridge sports medicine. We have four convenient locations and each office provides the same exceptional, skilled, one-to-one care. We are committed to helping you achieve a successful rehabilitation. Our expert staff works hard to provide the latest advances in medical technology and science. Our team of experienced therapy professionals can solve even the most complex conditions, identifying the underlying cause using the most advanced, scientifically validated treatment options available. Working together as a team, we provide state of the art care based upon your needs, health care goals, and lifestyle.

Sports medicine is a branch of orthopedic medicine and County Ridge sports medicine physical therapists are highly skilled to help you recover from any sports injuries. Our office treats all general orthopedics injuries, fracture care including pediatric fractures, sports injuries, rehabilitation, and prevention, and repetitive motion injuries. Your team will put together a rehabilitation strategy that will get you back on your feet quickly and as thoroughly as possible. Many of our patients see them after reparative surgery and we work in tandem with your doctor to provide the most effective treatments possible.

We offer a wide variety of physical therapy services. Research shows that exercise and physical therapy play a key role in treating and preventing recurring pain and can protect against injury. Manual physical therapy is a relatively new and comprehensive therapy approach that includes assessment, treatment, and prevention. Proper treatment promotes strength, flexibility, and endurance—the three keys to sustained well-being. We believe that exercise and/or manual and movement therapy should be a part of every patient’s treatment. One of the many innovative treatment options offered by our Country Ridge sports medicine therapists is Graston Technique®. This technique is an evidence-based form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization that enables clinicians to detect and effectively break down scar tissue and fascial restrictions. It has been the leading modality in Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM). GT enables physical therapists and other clinicians to effectively address scar tissue and fascial restrictions and maintain optimal range of motion in their patients through comprehensive training and education. At Oasis Physical Therapy, our experience proves faster, more complete recovery and pain reduction with this unique approach.
